WHO ARE WE? |
| Covenant Presbyterian Church is a member of the Evangelical Presbyterian Church (EPC) denomination and has a mission to advance the Gospel (Philippians 1:12). Our area of mission is four fold: Jerusalem, Judea, Samaria, and the ends of the earth (Acts 1:8), with Jerusalem (our immediate North Park neighborhood) as our first priority. We say “We have good news for you,” that is, the good news of Jesus Christ.
Our Sunday worship service begins at 9:30 a.m. and features a blend of traditional hymns and contemporary praise music. Children through 6th grade begin Sunday School by attending the 9:30 a.m. worship service and are later dismissed to their classes. We have a SAM (Sports Art Music) Club for school-age children which meets at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday afternoons. Teens is an activity for junior-high and senior-high students which takes place from 6:00-8:00 p.m. on Wednesday evenings. There are many opportunities for worship, fellowship and ministry for all ages. Small groups meet for prayer and/or Bible study throughout the week. We have an all-church choir that practices and performs monthly. There are also opportunities for service in drama or music or at the coffee cart. |
